Terms and Conditions – Euro Vignettes Limited

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all use of www.slovenia-vignette.si (the “Website”) and any service or order for European road vignettes facilitated by Euro Vignettes Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).

Please read this document carefully. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable local and international laws. For support or questions, contact: support@eurovignettes.com.

1. Definitions

  • “Euro Vignettes” / “We”: Euro Vignettes Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No: 16801583). Registered Office: Flat 2, 33 Princes Park Avenue, London, NW11 0JR.
  • “slovenia-vignette.si”: The trading name and URL operated by the Company.
  • “Customer” / “You”: Individual or entity placing an order via the Website.
  • “Vignette”: Official permit, electronic receipt, label, or sticker for toll road or low-emission zone usage in specified European countries, governed by official authorities.
  • “Issuing Authority”: Official national or agency authority responsible for vignettes in each country.

2. Service Scope

slovenia-vignette.si is an independent service provider.

  • We facilitate the application process by handling data entry, translation, administration, and customer support.
  • We are not affiliated with any government or Issuing Authority. Vignettes can be purchased directly from official sources. Our service fee is charged in exchange for the convenience and administrative assistance we provide.
  • When you place an order, you authorize Us to purchase the product from the Issuing Authority on your behalf and in your name. We are not responsible for the performance or technical failures of the Issuing Authority.
  • Customers are reminded that in certain jurisdictions, such as Switzerland, a separate vignette is required for both the towing vehicle and any trailer/caravan being towed.
  • Our services are intended for vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight of up to 3.5 tonnes. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle does not exceed this limit; heavier vehicles may be subject to different toll regimes (e.g., the Swiss Heavy Vehicle Charge).
  • While we facilitate the application, we do not guarantee that the Issuing Authority will grant the vignette. If an application is rejected for reasons outside our control (e.g., existing vehicle bans), our service fee remains non-refundable.

3. Order Process

  • You must provide accurate vehicle registration and data. We are not liable for fines resulting from incorrect data provided by the Customer.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or delay orders due to incomplete information. If the required information is not provided within a reasonable timeframe, no refund will be issued.
  • Orders are submitted electronically to the proper authority. If clarification or further information is required, we may request it by email.
  • By placing an order, you accept binding Terms of this agreement and those of the relevant issuing authority.

4. Fees & Payment

  • The total price displayed at checkout includes the official vignette cost plus our service/administration fee.
  • All orders must be paid in full via the provided online payment methods before processing begins.
  • A receipt and payment confirmation will be sent to your registered email once your order has been received.
  • Prices may be updated at our discretion. Changes will not affect already placed and paid orders.
  • Once payment is completed and the processing of the vignette has commenced, fees are generally non-refundable.

5. Delivery & Activation

  • Electronic vignettes are registered directly with the traffic authority. Activation is usually prompt but may be subject to Issuing Authority system delays. confirmation may be immediate or may be subject to system delays. Verification email will outline details and validity.
  • It is your responsibility to review the confirmation email immediately and report any errors.

6. Refund Policy & Right of Withdrawal

  • Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services that are fully performed or to goods that are personalized/unambiguously tailored to a vehicle (e.g., a vignette tied to a specific license plate).
  • Once a vignette is submitted for activation or issued, the service is deemed “fully performed,” and no refund can be granted.
  • Cancellations requested before processing has begun are at our sole discretion and may incur an administrative fee.
  • If an application is refused by the authority, only unspent fees paid to authorities will be refunded; service/administration fees remain non-refundable.

7. Amendments & Corrections

  • Corrections to vehicle data or order details before activation or submission may be possible if promptly notified, although cannot be guaranteed. Once an order is submitted or activated, corrections may not be possible.
  • Any amendments are at our sole discretion and subject to the processing stage of the order.
  • We are not liable for any errors or omissions by the Customer when placing the order with Us, nor any errors on the part of the issuing authority.

8. Lost, Damaged, or Invalid Vignettes

  • For lost, damaged, or undelivered vignettes, report promptly to support@eurovignettes.com. Replacement is not guaranteed and may require a new order; decisions depend on issuing authority policies.
  • For electronic vignettes, the Customer is responsible for retention and using the confirmation received.

9. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers assume direct responsibility for the accuracy of all provided data. Failure to comply with official rules of each country is at the Customer’s risk.
  • Any penalty, fine, or official action arising from invalid or missing vignettes is solely the Customer’s responsibility.

10. Delivery Estimates and Service Interruptions

  • All delivery timelines provided on the Website or via email are good-faith estimates and do not constitute a guarantee of service.
  • Timelines are strictly dependent on the processing speeds of the Issuing Authority.
  • We are not liable for delays, errors, or service interruptions caused by Issuing Authority system outages, postal strikes, technical failures beyond our control, or other force majeure events.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Euro Vignettes Limited for any claim, loss, or damage is strictly limited to the amount of the service and administration fees paid for the specific order in question.
  • We do not accept liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, travel costs, hotel cancellations, missed appointments, or loss of profits resulting from vignette delays or non-issuance.
  • We accept no liability for any fines, penalty notices (PCNs), or administrative sanctions imposed on the Customer. This applies to cases where:
    • The vehicle is driven in a zone for which the vignette/sticker is insufficient or invalid.
    • Incorrect or incomplete vehicle data was provided during the order process.
    • The customer drives into a regulated zone without having received proof of registration from us via email.
  • It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure their vehicle meets the entry requirements for specific environmental or toll zones.

12. Prices and VAT

  • All prices displayed include VAT where legally applicable.
  • The fees visible at the time of checkout are final for that specific transaction. We reserve the right to adjust prices for future orders without notice.
  • An order is only considered accepted and ready for processing once full payment has been successfully received.

13. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Personal and vehicle data is collected solely to fulfill your order and is transmitted to the relevant Issuing Authorities as required to secure the vignette.
  • Our data handling practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our adherence to UK GDPR and relevant data protection laws.
  • By placing an order, you provide explicit consent for Us (and the relevant Issuing Authority) to process your data for the purposes of toll and vignette registration.

14. Intellectual Property

  • All content on slovenia-vignette.si, including text, logos, graphics, and software, is the exclusive property of Euro Vignettes Limited unless otherwise stated.
  • No part of this Website or our branding may be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without our express written permission.

15. Complaints & Support

  • All support queries and formal complaints should be directed to support@eurovignettes.com.
  • We aim to acknowledge and address all complaints within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Customers in the EU/UK may also utilize the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for unresolved disputes regarding digital services.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may benefit from additional mandatory protections under the laws of your country of residence.
  • In the event of a dispute, the Customer agrees to attempt resolution via our support team before pursuing external legal or ODR channels.

17. Amendments & Updates

  • Euro Vignettes Limited reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
  • Changes become effective immediately upon being posted to the Website. Your continued use of our services following an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

18. Third-Party and Issuing Authority Terms

By placing an order on slovenia-vignette.si, you agree to comply with the specific rules and regulations set forth by the relevant national authority. For Switzerland, this is primarily the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS). You acknowledge that you are bound by their terms regarding vignette validity and usage in addition to our own.
